Now I had to post these. Not to show Mom off ironing,
but to prove once and for all that the orange paisley wallpaper,
and the lime green trim really was HORRID!! Even if it was the early 80's!
Okay 1897-ish
The kitchen went to a strawberry theme
Mom wanted new dishes. The Abundance pattern to be exact. Well I had told
my Dad that I was too poor to buy them for her, but as a gag, I got her a toy
set of them. She was talking to me on the phone when this was taken.
Now I had told Mom that I got Dad a tool set, and it had to be the last box opened
Christmas morning, and she had to get a picture of it when he did.
So here he is opening his "tool set"
He got the dishes!!!!
As Mom's gag gift she got a roll of bubble wrap.
Now she could pop bubbles to the cows came home!
